Industrial transfer of a powder coating line
Plasse project · XXL sheet metal · Loire (42), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Dismantling · Transfer · Reassembly · Commissioning, during the production shutdown
New equipment, yes. But transfers too. At Plasse, an XXL sheet metal specialist based in the Loire (42), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, CREDO Engineering took charge of the complete transfer of a powder coating line, during the production shutdown.
The line: surface treatment tunnel (STT), dryer, infrared oven and curing oven. Imposing equipment, to be moved without damage, re-installed to the millimetre and put back into production within a tight deadline.
The conveyor was entrusted to ALM, our conveying partner on this project. It is also thanks to ALM that this job came to us: each on its own trade, the line and the conveyor move forward together.
A turnkey project, from dismantling to commissioning
Where everything is decided: the deadline
On a line transfer, the constraint is not only technical: everything has to fit within the production shutdown window. This is where our field experience makes the difference: a team that knows these lines inside out, a tight schedule built upstream with the customer, and daily coordination on site. Result: production restarts on time.
✓ A single contact for the whole project
✓ A team used to short shutdowns and large equipment
✓ The same know-how as on our new lines, applied to your existing installations
